Mikaela is a mom of two kids. When she had her first child, she realized how difficult it was finding activities to do with her. It was sometimes almost like having a part time job looking for fun, enriching activities to take her and then her son to. When she relocated to Orlando a few years ago,  she decided to start an online magazine that would fill this need for parents like her, taking away the work required to plan fun family activities. Her company Orlando Parents has helped numerous families in the Orlando metro area find things to do in and around the Orlando area, as well as providing special events that they can attend and come together as a family. Her goal is to help families create lifelong memories together.

After teaching elementary music four a couple of years, I noticed there was a great need for music education for students with special needs. This prompted me to get my Master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education, and to then create an all-inclusive music studio, for all ages and abilities, where students can not only learn an instrument, but also enrich their lives through the many benefits of music education. Mindful Music Center serves all ages, from babies all the way through adulthood, through the various classes we teach, including piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele lessons, as well as baby music classes. We also specialize in teaching students with ASD. We've been serving Seminole county for 5 years now, and provide lessons either virtually, in your home or in-studio.
